Slow Cooker Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 Pack - Bacon
  • 2 Cups - Dry Beans (Soaked overnight)
  • 1 Onion - Diced
  •  

  • SAUCE
  • 3 Cups - Water
  • 1 Can - Tomato Paste
  • 1/2 Cup - BBQ Sauce
  • 1/4 Cup - Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp - Apple Cider Vinegar

Directions

  1. Soak beans overnight in large bowl of water
  2. In morning, drain beans, dice bacon and dice onions
  3. Place the bacon on the bottom of the slow cooker, then place beans on top, then place onions on top
  4. Turn slow cooker on low and prepare sauce
  5. For the sauce, combine all ingredients in a bowl and whisk until smooth, then pour sauce over everything in the slow cooker, Do not mix everything*
  6. Close lid and cook on low for 6-8 hours, you can stir after 3 hours
  7. Add salt if needed
